Daniel G. Gilliland, CPA
Daniel Gilliland established Gilliland and Associates, P.C., a local CPA firm, in Falls Church, Virginia in 1987. Gilliland and Associates, P.C. offers a broad range of services to a diversified group of clients in many areas including real estate, personal service, international trade, and nonprofit.
Experience includes: planning, coordinating and performing certified audits, corporate and personal taxes, IRS audits, and representation before the IRS. Other experience includes writing articles for various business publications and giving talks to groups of business men and women.
Mr. Gilliland received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland in 1984, graduating Cum Laude with academic distinction. He received his CPA in May of 1985, after his first sitting, and is licensed in Virginia and Maryland.
Mr. Gilliland is currently a member of Toastmasters International. He has served two terms as President of the Vienna Toastmasters, one term as Area Governor of Toastmasters and one term as Division Governor of Toastmasters. Additionally, Mr. Gilliland is a member of Business Networking International (BNI), a member of the Virginia Society of CPA’s and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well.
Mr. Gilliland is currently the president, and has served on the board of directors for the McLean Hills Condominium Association for the last fifteen years.
