Virta handles a variety of diverse duties on a daily basis that keep our office humming. If you need a specific form, have a question about an invoice or about our services, Virta is the person to call. A graduate of Suitland Business School, Virta joined Gilliland & Associates in 2007.

Bill Glassbrook, CPA

Bill joined Gilliland & Associates in December, 2012, and provides accounting and tax services for our clients. Bill is a certified public accountant, a certified member of the QuickBooks ProAdvisor® Program, and a member of the Maryland Society of Accountants.

Bill graduated from Bridgewater College and has enjoyed continuing education ever since to broaden the areas in which to help his clients. A long-time resident of the DC Metro area, Bill enjoys reading, working with computers, and other electronics.

Jeremy Thorpe, CPA
Tax Accountant

Jeremy provides our clients with expert tax accounting services. He is the newest member of the Gilliland team, joining us in January, 2014.

In addition to being a tax accountant, Jeremy became a Certified Public Accountant in 2011. He has a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from George Mason University, where he graduated in 2003; and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law, which he received in 2006. Jeremy is also a QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor, and a member of AICPA.

A talented musician, Jeremy plays guitar and mandolin.

Rose Tsang,CPA
Tax Accountant

“Each client is unique; I strive to personalize each tax return so that it would be accurate under the Tax Codes.”

Rose enjoys working with numbers and solving puzzles. Rose is a Certified Public Accountant and a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She received her Bachelor of Science from Tufts University and Master of Business Administration specialized in accounting from University of Connecticut.

In her free time, Rose enjoys travelling, gardening and volunteering at the library.
